The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Marketing Executive to support the planning and execution of national multi-channel marketing strategies. Working closely with our Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in increasing brand visibility, driving sales, and engaging retail and brand partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in executing a 12-month rolling marketing plan, ensuring timely and budget-conscious implementation across multiple brands.
  • Support the planning and delivery of seasonal campaigns and marketing activations across various channels, including retail, digital, PR, events, and POS.
  • Coordinate brand presence at trade shows and consumer events, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Work with external agencies on print, PR, and retail marketing initiatives.
  • Provide marketing assets, imagery, campaign artwork, and point-of-sale materials to support retail partners.
  • Manage marketing product samples and gifting requests.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team to support key retail accounts with targeted marketing activations.
  • Present seasonal activation ideas and report on campaign performance and insights.
  • Enhance brand visibility through influencer partnerships, product seeding, media coverage, and event marketing.
  • Travel as required for meetings, events, and brand activations (UK & international).

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Essential

  • 2–3 years of marketing experience, ideally within retail or brand marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of retail marketing and event management, with a strategic and creative mindset.
  • Proven project management experience, particularly within event and retail activations.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams, retail partners, and external agencies.
  • A proactive, forward-thinking approach with a positive, collaborative attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external interactions.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience working within marketing budgets.
  • Confidence in presenting ideas and results to key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends or out-of-office hours for events.
  • A genuine passion for active and outdoor lifestyles.

Desirable

  • A degree (or equivalent qualification) in Marketing or a related field.
  • Experience in an agency environment, working with multiple clients.
  • Previous experience within the active and outdoor retail sector.
